edison365 has been going from strength to strength – just 2 years after separating from our parent (and now partner) company, CPS, we’ve been growing rapidly. We’ve increased our staff, acquired new clients (including behemoths like AB InBev and HS2), introduced a 4-day working week, become the top UK business for wellbeing and now – drum roll – we’re opening an office in Spain!
Why Spain, you ask? Well, aside from the delicious tapas and much nicer weather, this exciting expansion is part of our ongoing efforts to grow our business and provide brilliant support for our customer base with multilingual staff and we couldn’t resist tapping into the incredible talent pool in the country.
This new team will be headed by Customer Development Manager Paloma Armada-Gamboa. She said: “Our new, multilingual team will help us to provide an even greater service to our customers across the world. There’s a huge amount of talent in Madrid, so it’s the perfect place to create our first office in mainland Europe!”
Ivan Lloyd, edison365’s CEO, said: “Creating our new Madrid office and expanding our team into three countries, across two continents, is an exciting move for edison365. This has been possible because of the major interest we’ve seen in innovation and business change – companies are realizing that they need to adapt to thrive in these rapidly changing times.
“The culture at edison365 is all about enabling everyone to reach their full potential, and I think that this is the perfect illustration of that. Paloma joined our team straight out of university and has progressed from being a graduate trainee to heading up our first office in Spain in just 4 years. It’ll be exciting to see where her and her team go from here!”
Alongside Paloma, we’ve created three new roles in the Madrid office; these roles will make up our fast-track graduate trainee scheme, which includes a full training program, mentoring and – of course – a supportive work culture. At the same time, we are expanding our development team in Spain with the first role going live today (and this is just the start!). The new Spanish team will work alongside our existing employees in the UK and USA, making us a truly global organization able to support our customers across a range of time zones and languages.
