For Techint E&C, the impacts of switching to edison365 were both immediate and noticeable. Unfortunately, many SharePoint-based systems are rigid and cannot fully meet the innovation needs of teams. Especially those as ambitious as Techint E&C’s!
To get the ball rolling, Techint E&C was introduced to our onboarding expert Poppy Barber (keep reading for our short Q&A with Poppy on this story. 👇) This was a partnership that drove the company in the right direction quickly and efficiently.

To help tell Techint E&C’s story in a little more detail, we sat down with Onboarding Consultant, Poppy Barber for the bigger picture!
What were Techint’s key challenges?
“Techint E&C needed a way to bring structure to their ideas. They had plenty of opportunities and ways to improve their business, but the tools they were using to capture and action new ideas weren’t scalable to how they work.
With the experience we have as a team, we were able to build their environment in a way that matched their needs; in a way that drove value, idea to idea.”
How much time and effort have Techint saved?
“This could easily be up to three weeks of manual effort. Perhaps more? The truth is, we know the system inside out. For someone starting from scratch or using other innovation tools outside of edison365’s environment, this may have taken much longer to implement.”
What stood out to you about working with Techint?
“If there’s one thing I’ve learnt from working closely with Techint’s E&C’s team, it’s that they’re super open-minded, agile, and committed to delivering innovation.
It’s not uncommon for businesses to shy away from change with rigid innovation strategies, but not for Techint E&C. They embraced our tools with a transformative mindset and approach. It’s a strong and friendly partnership we’ve built.”

“There sure is! One of the great benefits our customers gain from joining edison365 is the access we provide to the wider community.
We’re a big believer in customers learning from one another, which is why we regularly put on webinar events for inclusive discussion, questions, and more.
Finally, with a lot of the edison365 team able to speak Spanish, this made our relationship and communication with Techint E&C much easier for them!”
Results
It’s safe to say Techint E&C has taken edison365’s innovation management tools by storm. Their adoption of the platform, and eagerness to execute nearly 100 ideas is impressive! But they’re not stopping there.
Techint E&C is now focused on deepening its use of edison365 and expanding access across the organization to support a wide range of goals and drive the delivery of new ideas.
Notably, the company’s Diversity & Inclusion team has started using the platform to gather suggestions and communicate initiatives in a more organized and scalable way. By inviting all employees to contribute their ideas, the tool is helping foster greater engagement and inclusion across the business.
It’s clear that the company wants to embed innovation into its DNA, but they are also thinking outside the box and looking at ways to also embrace the project management tools that exist in edison365. This helps Techint E&C to move from innovation to end-to-end transformation.
